Successfully advancing your piece into your opponent's zone grants you the powerful King piece. The King can perform longer moves and has the unique ability to move backward, providing you with strategic advantages. With the possibility of having multiple King pieces, your gameplay can shift dramatically. Unlike the diagonal arrangement found in other variations of checkers, Turkish Checkers is also known as flat checkers due to its straightforward set-up.
